Helen Stoltzfus and Albert Greenberg are co-artistic directors of ALICE Arts. They have been collaborating on original works of theatre for over 22 years. Prior to ALICE, they were co-artistic directors of San Francisco's internationally acclaimed A Traveling Jewish Theatre. Their plays have been performed worldwide, from the Los Angeles Theatre Festival to the Kampnagel Hamburg Sommer Festival, and from Prague to Appalachia.

ALICE Arts is not associated with the former Alice Arts Center, which changed its name to the Malonga Casquelourd Arts Center in 2004. ALICE began as a grassroots arts education program. ALICE is an acronym for Arts and Literacy in Children's Education.
